LeanEco's solution integrates all functions comprising no-break power (a double-conversion UPS) as well as extended runtime power generation. It also comprises other key functions like

• Surge protection
• Mains isolation switch
• Service by-pass switch
• Emergency by-pass, fully rated -
  • Static switch for Zone 2
  • Static switch for Zone 3
• Emergency power off connection
• SNMP signalling to loads (one channel for each zone)..

For built-in power distribution, the rack may be equipped with "zero U" Output Modules with power cords for connections to distribution rails or directly to server racks.

The solution is based on a system rack (a 19" rack with management module) equipped with - by choice - a combination of the following modules:

• PCM (Power Conversion Module)
• BSM (Bridging Storage Module)
• OP (Output module (PDU function) and
• FCGM (Fuel Cell Generator Module).

PCM's are all identical, but each is configured on-the-fly to operate either as rectifier or inverter (by a SW configurator).

PCM's may be stacked on any zone by the SW configurator to form the selected capacity and/or redundancy. Physical relocation of the modules is not required.

The power converter is a high-end, bi-directional, multi-level switch mode converter designed for robustness and high efficiency.
